Decentralization is a fundamentally "what if?" value prop anyway. Thats why its such a hard sell. We ve already built a centralized world that works perfectly well. Until it doesnt.

Agreed. But it still remain a key value prop of farcaster. Otherwise u can just build warpcast, a centralized social network with high composability. I mean, that has value too.

I feel like "economy" is even worse tbh. It absolutely doesnt tell me what it is without actual further explanation. I like programmable social, but it misses the the whole decentralized aspect. Agreed though that right now, what's happening on Warpcast relates more to programmability than decentralization, but that's because programmability has more impact on UX, hence UA, than decentralization.

Re-released recently on a compilation from Music From memory, curated by one of the best record shop owner in Osaka. Really recommend this project, as well as his previous project, more focused on the 80s era. I was reflecting on this thought during the weekend, but I think the Millennials are gonna be the most insufferable generation after the Boomers. Because we're the first internet native generation, we're gonna be lecturing young generations left & right about how internet used to be, and have a unbearable OG mentality.

Thats very point but i would argue Musk is just a pawn on the board. Whats described in this extract already existed prior to Musk buying twitter. It did accelerate the process though.
