Does it matter who or what creates music if it elicits a positive emotional response? Why or why not?

Don't think it matters. If you go to a club, chances are you're gonna vibe to a few rapists, bully, misogynistic or racist artist. So what? U should feel bad retroactively because you had pleasure listening to their music? Plus their music might be attached to a very personal memory of yours, and u can't control that.

Music, on the receiving end, is mostly an emotional response, not so much an intellectual one. You can't tell yourself to not like a song if you like it. So it feels very insincere to oneself to try and do so anyway.
