Ngl, it looked really bad to me. Once again, hollywood cant help to include all those "we know" meta references, like the scene where they dance on the stair and make that iconic leg move joker did in the 1st movie when going down the stairs... i cant with those wink wink moments 🙄

To me the movie industry is dying of being too meta and too self aware. It used to be cool, but its not funny anymore imo.

Also in this specific instance, i precisely see this as a reference to IRL event: they know this scene has been memed & instagramed to death, and they re letting us know and giving us more

I look at those moments as connective tissue opposed to anything annoyingly meta

I find the meta references that reference IRL events in movies more annoying than callbacks to earlier parts of the story
