Building a social protocol on Solana feels like one of the bigger opportunities in crypto right now There's a few people exploring it but it feels like an obvious opportunity bc there's a decent amount of DAUs on Solana and it seems like the ecosystem that's growing the fastest in crypto

I feel like the aggregate user base of all EVM compatible chains is still way bigger than Solana, even if you discount side L1s. idk, just like you it's just a hunch, but if I were to choose an ecosystem to build on for a social protocol with a vocation of onboarding as many users as possible, I would probably go with something EVM.

Maybe but how many of those users have been active onchain lately? I’d bet that Solana has onboarded more people to onchain activity this year than all EVMs chains combined FC could cater more to the Solana crowd by enabling transaction support without building FC on Solana My point is that there’s an opportunity to cater to this crowd whether it’s FC or a new social protocol that’s more natively built on Solana

I agree, there's a market opportunity. I'm just not sure about the "quality" of said onboarded users. If we're talking about ppl wanting to make a quick buck through meme coin casino, I don't know how this translates into an onchain social platform (It's half a sarcastic remark, half a real question).
