The Proof of Play Apex chain is now live w/ Pirate Nation!

Pirate Nation is now the first fully onchain game deployed to its own Mainnet chain.

This is the start of the Multichain: an infinitely scalable constellation of chains that allows us deliver onchain gaming to millions.

FYI we went live with our own chain today for Pirate Nation. The gas costs from Nova were spiking 5-6x normal. This is the only way to scale onchain games, happy to answer questions about it if anyone is curious.

Curious to know, as per the previous Nova fees, what was the average $ amount a user had to spend on transaction fees for an average game session? And what will it be moving forward?

it's indeed a prohibitive cost if you subsidize it...And if you don't, it would  impair your user growth for sure. Smart move!

We were covering all gas for users so they got a seamless play experience. We were spending around $0.50 - $1/user/day, it spiked to $5/user/day last week and we were forced to accelerate our migration.
