I think this overestimates most voters caring at all. Trump is doing a terrible disservice to the industry and it might be more harmful than helpful to vigorously take a stand on the matter.

I wouldn’t be so sure. That could be code for “start opening gaps (e.g. with the CFTC, tokenization of tradfi) while keeping the Elizabeth Warren wing placated.” If Kamala is going to do something for crypto, it’s going to be incremental, institutional, glacial, and mind numbingly boring.
