The SEC approved the Solana ETF application; a step towards the approval of the first Solana-based fund.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially accepted the application from 21Shares to create an exchange-traded fund (ETF) based on the cryptocurrency Solana.  
This is the first time the SEC has agreed to review such a request for Solana, indicating a potential shift in the agency's approach to cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin and Ethereum. If this application is approved, investors will be able to access #Solana through the stock exchange, which could have a positive impact on the price and popularity of this cryptocurrency.
