World Happiness Report🀍 The report is compiled annually by the Gallup Institute, the United Nations, and Oxford University, based on responses from people in more than 140 countries and further processing of these responses by experts. In 2024, for the first time, more detailed data on happiness levels depending on age and geographic location were provided. For example, Lithuania, which ranks 19th in the overall ranking, took first place as the happiest country in the world for young children and people under 30. But the researchers found a global trend: people born before 1965 are, on average, happier than those born after 1980. But they also note that young people around the world aged 15 to 24 feel happier than adults aged 25 and older.
