I’ve been organizing @ethereum  hackathons for 3 years. I was able to do that largely due to being an ESP grantee for Ecosystem Support. 

Last year I caught myself wishing I could clone myself to help more events, - because unless you’re a serial organizer like me, you might be missing tools and the network to put together a great event. 

🕯️thus I’m launching Hacker Archives - uniting kits, hacker projects, and different initiatives like Safe Events to serve hackers, organizers and sponsors alike.

Then you can move to Event Atlas, featuring not just upcoming Ethereum hackathons but also archives of past events and a way to contact organizers.

Should we make a curated list of sponsors that are interested in funding hackathons?

Here’s where the real deal is - we have noticed a lack of databases of projects from community ran hackathons. 

We’re working on it! In the Hall of Builders you will find exactly that, with tags if they would like to add contributions or funding, making it easier for those projects to grow and flourish 🌱

Finally, the Chamber of Care, because emotional infrastructure is just as important as tooling. 

Here you will find tools for ensuring safety and inclusion at your events, materials and matching for first time hackathon goers, and lots of care and thoughts.

This is an idea I had for 3 years. 

I’ve been brainstorming it, I’ve been collecting materials, welcomed Caolan (EthIreland) as my partner in crime. 

One night last week it magically clicked - the wireframe just showed up in my mind and it’s time to kill perfectionism and start building it in public.
