As many of you probably already know, I have recently graduated from the #shefiseason12 cohort of the @shefi program led by the amazing Maggie @love I’m not new to crypto but my non-technical background has made it quite difficult to understand the world of Web3 on my own. I think most crypto enthusiasts are primarily focused on the financial incentives in this space, but this has never been the case for me. Not that I haven’t owned any Bitcoin or Eth, but I just somehow jumped on the non-fi wagons of the crypto train right from the start ⬇️

That said, a self-taught normie, I was encouraged by my female friends from Farcaster to apply for the @shefi program to finally explore the many facets of defi in a more organized fashioned. I must say, girl, they were damn right While I did have prior knowledge of certain aspects of Web3, there was still a ton of details that I either haven’t explored before or just have never come across. Yup, let’s just face it: we can’t always catch up with everything in this fast-paced industry ⬇️

Also, disregard what I’ve just said about my knowledge and additional details. If you’re absolutely new to anything crypto - you would still be able to catch up with all the main topics because Maggie does a phenomenal job covering all the bases This is the first cast in my little series on my Shefi experience - more will come out in the next couple of days. A few teasers: !! Our cohort was sponsored by @celo - I came by their office in Oct when I was in SF !! @shefi has it own wallet (more on this later) TBC

The program is for women, female-identifying, and non-binary people, but I believe male allies can participate in some aspects of - will need to confirm that
