why do people make channels of themselves? is it just a self-brand thing? will the channel get more traction than their personal feed? not dissing, just genuinely trying to understand

I started the channel to store my casts that donβt belong in other channels. Bonus: channels provide more visibility. Also, helps with content strategy and/or personal branding.
