Aurora: The Magical Lights of the Sky
Last night, the sky over Denmark was illuminated by one of nature’s most beautiful phenomena: the aurora! These colorful lights, dancing across the sky, are usually seen in polar regions, but sometimes, like last night, we’re lucky enough to witness this amazing display in Denmark.
But where does the aurora come from? The sun sends out particles called solar winds toward the Earth. When these particles collide with Earth’s magnetic field, they react with the molecules in the atmosphere, creating these stunning lights. The auroras often appear in shades of green, red, blue, and purple.
If the nights are cold and the sky is clear, you might be able to catch this beautiful phenomenon yourself. Seeing the aurora is a unique experience that everyone should witness at least once in their lifetime! 5 replies
