The film is divided into two acts, each with distinct groups of women who confront the killer.

While Death Proof is filled with sharp, witty dialogue and memorable car chase scenes, the film's pacing can feel uneven at times, with lengthy conversations that occasionally slow the action. However, the explosive final chase and strong performances, particularly from Zoë Bell and Russell, redeem its slower moments. It's a unique, visceral homage to '70s exploitation cinema but may not appeal to all audiences due to its deliberate pacing and niche genre.
