Writing up some thoughts on how to scale Farcaster to 1M DAU. 

We're currently handling 50-60 msgs/second on average and are designing for 1000 msgs/second.

In season one, because the number of participants was small. About 20000 people. The first person was 4mil Degan. My friend participated only a week earlier. He got about 500 thousand Degan at the price of 0.0002. Almost 27 thousand dollars He has now staked all this money and has a hundred times the daily royalties

How was the token distributed what was the criteria?

Don't get me wrong. The Degan team didn't come from the sky. They are classmates and friends. Meanwhile, Funder Farkster himself said: We were able to do viral marketing with Degan.

Farcaster devs have no control over the degen airdrops or any decisions made about them. Degen is is developed by a different group of people, it’s just been widely adopted by Farcaster users.

This is exactly why I avoid Telegram.
