The Willow chip, with a power of 105 qubits, represents a significant step in the direction of quantum computing. However, analysts at Bernstein say it still has a long way to go before reaching the millions of qubits needed to effectively attack cryptographic algorithms like ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm) and SHA-256 (Secure Hash Algorithm) used in Bitcoin security.
