iMessenger, Telegram, WhatsApp, FB Messenger, Signal, how many of these cross-communicate? 0. This is insanity. Can Farcaster do better?

To clarify, not saying Farcaster should focus on private communications just saying all big same-kind communications networks hold their users hostage in closed networks.

I'm new here. Maybe not and we'll need another layer below Farcaster to unite DMs with chat apps. Is that what you expect? Or are you saying DMs on social networks should always be separate from messages on chat networks?

Do you see Farcaster as the same as them? 

I personally don't.
