There are no plans to limit the mining of cryptocurrencies in Moscow yet. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia Yevgeny Grabchak, RIA Novosti reports. Earlier, the government commission on electric power industry at a meeting discussed the introduction of a ban on mining in the subjects of the Russian Federation with a difficult regime and balance situation in the energy sector. In the autumn-winter heating period until 2031, appropriate restrictions will apply in a number of regions. According to Evgeny Grabchak, the restriction of cryptomining will affect 13 regions, Moscow has not yet been included in the list.
