If you are doing any sort of M&A (or complex fundraising), LLMs are a phenomenal tool. I used chatgpt & gemini to understand nuances of Delaware law & Sanctum + Ollama to help me understand the actual deal docs. It won't replace your counsel, but make you much more in control.

I was thinking about this this week, it seems like the equivalent of Harvey but for accounting would be big. @alexroytenberg are you aware of any product like that?

Big issue for this in accounting is you need to know what to ask and the data needs to be there. As in what is my MRR or ARR you can mostly get out of KPI systems with natural language but the very first step is having the data in the system correctly and

AI isn’t there. I am an investor in a number of startups who want to replace in QuickBooks and working with them on product and so on but not there yet and a lot of it will still require humans to know what to ask and enter for it to work.
