Excellent thread on the Dutch court decision to convict Tornado Cash developer Alexey Pertsev on "Money Laundering" charges, despite it being impossible for him to touch, stop, or control funds flowing through the code. https://twitter.com/freedomtech/status/1790500934126293311

Utterly gobsmacked. In the Netherlands, applying the laws of probability to software is now illegal. Go straight to jail. #FreeAlexey

I learned Zero Knowledge from this codebase. It's open source, public, and used in universities to teach cryptography worldwide as an exemplary example of cutting-edge engineering. He can't access the funds, and he can't stop the funds from moving through smart contracts. No one can. That's why the code is beautiful.

Shocked and saddened. According to this Dutch judge, merely writing code makes Alexey a money launderer. The code in question is not some secret, forbidden code that is banned from public access or hidden in some hard drive in a bunker. It's on GitHub! https://twitter.com/LefterisJP/status/1790374396147749369

1st half - Positive from Wales. Clearly less dominant, but energetic and making chances count. 2nd half - France asserted dominance. Wales, looking frantic, making silly decisions, and suffered. Beating Italy is our only chance of going Spoonless 😬 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/match/EVP4132666

Learning a new programming language is a journey from consciously parsing each line to intuitively "getting it" - taking in the important details in the code - without thinking. This takes time and graft. When it clicks -> productivity skyrockets -> feelsgood.jpg

Hey @bren ! @auditwizard looks cool. What's running on the back end that is detecting these vulnerabilities? Existing open source tools or some proprietary tool/detectors?
