Alright, this is going to be hard to convey, but if I don’t get it out of my system, it’s going to make me sick: YOU’VE NEVER BEEN TO A REAL RAVE, AND IT SHOWS. In my opinion, Lens raves give off a bad image: “They’re just a bunch of rich kids superficially imitating a real rave, but more expensive, in a fancier venue, and without drugs” – my friend from the neighborhood. I think the Lens team needs to get more in touch with reality, the reality where the end user actually lives. Otherwise, they’ll keep focusing on attracting content creators who already live in a bubble of privilege. Derailing. Since years a recurrent theme in my dreams is derailing of trains. Not in a bad or catastrophic way but just that trains would leave the rails and continue on the streets for a moment or permanently. It’s become such a common thing that often it triggers lucid dreaming as I realize I am in a dream when it happens. Just last week I was in a spectacular dream about Armenia, giant mausoleums and derailed trains. Tonight for the first time in my life I saw an actual derailed tram. Creativity can be unpredictable sometimes! 💜🌈✨ You could sit for hours and come up with nothing gud. On the other hand, some of your best ideas might hit you randomly wen you're not even trying. I carry a smol notepad and use voice memos to quickly record ideas wen they come. This way, instead of trying to control creativity all the time, I can position myself to be ready for it wen it strikes ✨
