How many times do I have to repeat that most users and developers on Farcaster did not know Varun or myself prior to joining Farcaster.

And in some cases have *become* friends because they stuck around early on when no one else cared. We've spent years with this people socializing on this social network. :)

Don't conflate something that's earned / built with cronyism.

I mean you definitely show us the people who you feel earned us seeing them. That is a gray area between your friends, their friends, and open ends; people want to decide for themselves a bit more in the end

Yes, I made qualitative judgements early on what people were good for the network. In fact, I onboarded close to 10K people individually.

Seems to have been an OK decision so far...
