i think this goes against the trad belief of only accept higher amounts so i choose 16

Funny, I'm lucky the "only accept higher amounts" narrative never made its way to me. This is good advice but could be nuanced a bit further, I can see someone misunderstanding this as optimize only for enjoyment. If you want wealth, you still need a path. tl;dr optimize for long term wealth; not short term pay

My philosophy has been earn or learn for a while, admittedly I’ve mostly prioritized learn whereas @dwr.eth seems to have captured learn & earn which is epic. V helpful story fwiw

Learning or earning, ideally both is a good framework Learning has more potential than just earning, but like all potential, something has to happen to release it or it’s worthless And no real career advice can fit into a simple idiom :/
