Some thoughts on o3: Machines are now smarter than us—or nearly all of us. Scoring 25% on the Frontier Math benchmark, AIs are solving problems humans can’t even comprehend. They’re about to explore realms we can’t reach, shaping science, engineering, and the economy. We’ll live in their world but won’t fully understand it—a profound shift in our relationship with technology. Does this make us irrelevant? No. Only we define meaning, beauty, and the human experience. While machines may lead the future, we still matter—if we choose to.

Theybwill categorically *not* explore any "new realms" as long as they're trained with human generated data. These LLMs can only learn what humans already know. Interpolating databases.
