Ok but since it’s part of it, here’s my listening set up too. I handcrafted an oak shelf to stock the records and shelter the Hi-Fi hardware that is 100% analog, no digital bs (I’m just a geek). It’s tailor-made to the dimension of the amplifier and the turntable. Amplifier is a Marantz PM 6007, turntable is a Pro-Ject X1 and speakers are Kef Cadenza from 1972. And you have a closeup on the main part of my collection, you can zoom-in to find what you like (nothing is for sale tho haha). I have plenty of 60-70-80s classics amoung the ~50 single 7’’ records you can see on the bottom shelf but I’m too lazy to get them all out for a picture 😂 it’s just Sinatra, Etta James, M. Jackson, Bonski Beat, Eurythmics… and framed on the wall is the masterpiece, Da Funk by Daft Punk in a limited edition re-release by Toilet Paper Magazine sold at 1000 copies only. It’s worth ~800$ today so I keep it framed lol

And since it’s Daft-Punk-themed, here are all the records produced but the two robots (or half of them, concerning Stardust) that I own so far. I buy original copies only, no re-release  when it comes to albums. I have all the version a Random Access Memories, and Music Sounds Better With you is signed by Alan Braxe & Benjamin Diamond, the two other guys that made this record with Thomas Bangalter

mon dieu un vrai passionné bravo, stardust c'est toute ma jeunesse, quel clip j'étais fasciné , tout comme les clip de daft punk qui ont suivi c'etait vraiment une chouette époque vraiment nostalgique, j'ai plein de souvenirs qui remontent du coup 🥹

Merci 😄 et oui, Michel Gondry… ses clips me font encore rêver, ils ont tellement bien fait de s’entourer des meilleurs dès le début, c’est incroyable. Toute mon enfance aussi ce morceau ✨ les avoir vu au Rex la semaine dernière pour faire dédicacer ma copie était comme une consécration

tu devais être tellement submergé par les émotions au grand Rex mais oui le clip de around the world par exemple le chef d'oeuvre a la fois tres simple en apparence et hyper complexe dans toute l'imagination qu'il fallait pour organiser tout ca. 

voici ma collection j'ai récupéré l'ampli et la platine de mon beau pere qu'il m'a gentiment donné ainsi que ces vinyles il en avait une centaine alors j'ai voulu continuer sa collection. j'en ai un peu plus de 400 avec des truc electro comme nicolas jaar, mount kimbie, massive attack, moderat, four tet ... 

j'ai l'impression que tu collectionnes d'autres merveilles ou je me trompe ? 😅

C’était ouf de les voir en vrai oui, surtout que je me suis très bien placé pour profiter de tout le set et faire signer mon maxi ahaha
 
Belle collection ! J’arrive pas à bien lire les titres mais je vois que t’as le coffret de This Is It qui est une belle pièce, et également du Radiohead,  incroyable 🔥 et oui je collectionne d’autres choses en effet, même si en French Touch j’en ai quelques autres (Mr Oizo, Justice, Etienne de Crécy en édition limitée). J’ai tous les albums majeurs d’AC/DC, de la soul 60s car j’adore ça (Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald), du crooner des 50s aussi avec Sinatra, et du hip-hop des 90’s car je suis un gros fan (Mobb Deep, Notorious B.I.G., De La Soul, Naughty By Nature, Wu-Tang Clan…) plutôt East Coast mais j’ai un bootleg de Snoop et un maxi de Heavy D pour la West Coast ahah. Je cherche un pressage original de 2001 de Dr. Dre d’ailleurs. Tous les albums que j’ai le sont, sauf Nina Simone qui est une édition limitée :)
