Farcasterâs growth reminds me of the early days of Twitter, except this time, the incentives and architecture are fundamentally different. The question isnât whether decentralized social can work, but rather - whatâs the inflection point where it has to work? History suggests networks scale when they hit a âpull eventâ, something that forces mass adoption. Whatâs that moment for Farcaster? Is it creator monetisation? A breakout app? Something else entirely?

I'm not sure but I'm inclined to think the coinbase partnership will have something to do with it.

Yeah, the Coinbase integration is a big deal, it could definitely onboard a wave of crypto-native users. But is that enough to drive mainstream adoption and break beyond the crypto crowd?đ§

Not at all. I was just guessing about the next catalyst. I think many things need to be fixed before we onboard the masses. I have 15k twitter followers and I still don't tweet about farcaster because I don't want that crowd. Right now the barrier of entry seems just right to attract good people. I don't think farcaster is ready for the masses ... but it will be.
