You can write about marketing on your channel for your subscribers, but it doesn't interest me. That's not the case, because I love marketing. You can write about yoga exercises, and it doesn't interest me. You can write about coding and development and it doesn't interest me. That's not the case either, because it motivates me and I'm actually learning. So what's the metric to know if an Alfafrens channel attracts general attention for some reason? The number of times its chat is opened to read it. The number of reactions it receives. The number of subscribers it has.

Watch Time: The total time reader spend on the channel is a good indicator of how engaging and informative the content is.

We are definitely thinking along these same lines. We have been playing with different algorithms for engagement and chat quality and will be able to say more soon! Thanks for the thoughtful post.
