Wilson Bentley was the world's first snowflake photographer.

He was not a scientist, not a millionaire, but a simple guy from a farmer's family, but he was obsessed with his idea, so he combined a camera with a microscope and... you can see what came out above. As a result, he took more than five thousand photos of snowflakes during his entire life, but he remained a "fool" in his hometown until the end of his days, and in the world he received neither recognition nor large royalties
