On January 7, 2025, Donald Trump, the president-elect of the United States, held a dinner with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and the company's chief legal officer, Stuart Alderoti, at his residence at Mar-a-Lago. Garlinghouse shared a photo of the meeting on social media, calling it "a great start to 2025." 
"The year 2025 begins with optimism. The Trump bull market is a reality, and this year is especially important for Ripple," noted Brad Garlinghouse in his post.
