$DEGEN vault movement through season 13. -negative inflow every day: -96M degen unlocked so far. -16.8M tipped (out of 28M) so far. That's 60% tip usage. what changed? (Imho, being a degen lover). -locking your bags without clear rules: last minute bans, global daily allowance cut down from 5M to 1M. -people don't use their allowance for fear of being banned. I've invested 7k usdc into degen (550k degen), being my currently allowance 590 degen per day. I wonder how fun the tipping game is for those who cannot afford a large investment: tipping 20 degen (0.07 usdc) is bored. I wonder: what is the advantage of locking degen into the vault?

I’m curious—what made you lock so much in the vault, and do you still enjoy tipping? I agree the rules should be clearer. Does farming bother you? Do you care more about spreading DEGEN to new people or just tipping friends and getting it back? Does it matter if people dump after an airdrop? Should there be any penalties for that? Just wondering what you think—no right or wrong answers!

Of course, no right/wrong answers. We all want the best for $DEGEN, so commenting respectfully should help us all. First thing that made me buy degen: I had a thorn in my side after having to sell my first airdrops because I needed liquidity (sold 170k degen at 0,0037). Months later when I recovered my liquidity, I felt the need to support hard the project. what made me lock so much in the vault? support the project and get a daily allowance to support friends: art, builders, collectors... isn't that the goal of the vault? -farming bother me (of course), but there are many ways to combat it, without the need to overwhelm good people. -I care both things, but above all to help people who appreciate me, after having MY bag locked to reward content. I don't mind getting it back; most of the time I returned the tip as a thank you, not looking to be tipped. -not easy to answer. I still enjoy tipping, but maybe we need more use cases for our allowance.
