I just created my first /uniswap v3 position in the USDC/ETH pool. I'm just trying to learn. 44% stable vs 56% eth. set a 1700 usdc/eth min price and 2300 usdc/eth max price range. I need to figure how it works, but wider ranges get fewer rewards.

It will sell all your eth for usd (making you miss out on upside) and sell all your usd for eth (making you the bag holder) if eth price drops. You're basically betting price will stay in that range. It works great until it doesn't

It's market maker business, if your range is big enough you reep the rewards of price volatility. It's quite neat to make some extra revenue but you should be comfortable with hodling either of the assets in the pool, if the market moves too fast you'll be left with only one of them (usually the least advantageous)
