Farcaster just became free to join, but only for those with a Twitter account older than one year and at least 50 followers.

It may seem like a small update, but it’s a significant shift. The protocol is gaining traction, and more projects are starting to require a Farcaster ID for participation.

Until now, the $5 entry fee was a barrier. Removing it, even conditionally, lowers friction and opens the door to faster adoption.

If you’re in crypto and still not on Farcaster, now is probably the best time to get in.
