1.62C - WE HAVE ALREADY OVERSHOT THE TARGET

This is how much the average global temperature already reached above pre-industrial levels in November, according to the EU-funded Copernicus Climate Change Service. It's now "effectively certain" this year will be the warmest on record and the coldest of the years to come. 
And meanwhile, politicians are still debating how to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2030.
