locked in count is now active! after you lock in a cast, you'll see a counter of the total number of times you've locked in casts. 

you're only able to lock in a cast a single time - locking in a single cast multiple times has no effect. 

once you lock it in it stays locked in - there is no locked in drift!

lets build composable frames. 

imagecast frames have a `LOCK IN` button. users tap this button and they are shown the total number of frames theyve locked in.

any frame dev can add this button, at any stage of the user journey through your frame. all you need to do is add a POST button with the lock in endpoint + base64url encoded callback url. when users tap the button, theyll see their global (across all frames on farcaster) locked in count, as well as a POST button with your callbackUrl as the target.

lock ins are unique per fid and frame - the same frame cannot be locked in multiple times. lock ins do not expire, its set it and forget it.

theres more cooking - both on the composable frame component side as well as the locked in side.
