New token distribution methods I’ve seen so far this cycle

- in person “work” via NFC chip (Blackbird)
- claim via frame
- initial node sale (Xai)

For any founders thinking about tokens, would love to see attempts at progressive ownership!

Identity through attestations might be one of the killer use cases of Frames. The claim becomes so much more powerful when backed by verifiable proof that brings two parties closer, without wasteful interactions.

how do you define "progressive ownership"? airdropping tokens progressively over time?

any specific ideas you have in mind for this?

I still think ICOs are some of the best distribution mechanisms.

$degen sticks out as interesting to me. Accomplishes a lot of the same things a normal token would - bootstraps engagement, rewards early users, etc. - yet clearly has no relationship to the success of farcaster and gives people something to speculate on.
