For someone who understands ZKPs: is there an easy way to make the EdDSA signatures compatible with ZK stuff for /frames?

There could definitely be some cool features built around this, things such as anonymous polling for protecting user privacy. 

Probably you need a way to check the fid <> sig mapping, this could be done with a proof against the farcaster contracts.
