The architectural structures created by Temur and Timurids were conceived with dimensions, monumental forms and rich decorative decoration to reflect the grandeur of the powerful state. Architectural decoration in most of the buildings of that era was characterized by exceptional perfection.

One of the main techniques of external architectural decoration was the use of glazed facing materials of various kinds. Large ornaments were created from glazed glazed bricks, often combined with geometric inscriptions containing repeated sayings from the Koran, names of Allah, Muhammad and others.
