It seems like there is a stronger preference/proclivity from US consumers for fast fashion vs EU (have seen a couple data points supporting this but not from concrete sources). Also wonder if the EU is further along in true sustainable fashion/supply chain efforts vs the US given EU leadership in the space

I think it depends. Ownership providing real utility could totally change behavior, namely equity (entitling you to a portion of, say, earnings) or providing the ability to own, so also sell, something. Where I think users may care less is governance (have to strike the balance of having a say vs creating bottlenecks)

He’s certainly consolidated power around himself which should make for an interesting third term and pretty strong adherence to his many stated goals in coming years Though I do think he’s put himself in a tough spot w zero COVID because he’s defended it for so long (at times even at the cost of productivity)

Protests of this scale haven’t happened in China in decades. How Xi/CCP respond will have material implications - lifting COVID zero could strain the HC system/blow up govt (single payer) spend given low vax rates but quashing protests could spark social unrest, which CCP also does not want Thoughts on outcome here
