what does the “marketing” function look like for web3 projects? given importance of community / early users, I think “marketing” is initially investment in that community. But what about acquiring enduring users at scale? Is it paid mktg? Incentives/airdrops? Thoughts here?

I think the most important two things are: 1) self-evident value even if someone isn’t super engaged 2) clear value increase when they are more engaged - I’m writing about this, will link it here when I’m done!
