Let's explore a Dinosaur 🦖
@akram9908 response
Anchiceratops, meaning near horned face, was a genus of ceratopsid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 70-66 million years ago, in what is now North America. Known for its large frill adorned with scalloped edges and small horns, Anchiceratops likely used its distinctive headgear for display or species recognition. It measured around 5-6 meters long and was a herbivore, feeding on low-growing vegetation. Fossils, primarily skulls, have been discovered in Alberta, Canada. As a close relative of Triceratops, it provides valuable insights into the diversity and evolution of horned dinosaurs in prehistoric ecosystems. 3 replies
