Every time I reflect on true motherhood, ARIKE comes to mind—the woman who gave everything without expecting anything in return.
She endured a man's imperfections and bore children in love. From the first kick in the womb to adulthood, she nurtured, guided, and sacrificed. Even when her children grew, she never stopped mothering.
No words can fully capture the depth of her love, not even in a hundred-word story. But if love had a definition, it would be her name.
So today, I simply say thank you, my late mom, for being the only mother I could ever need. 14 replies
