The new anime by Orange Studio is the second film adaptation of the famous manga of the 90s "Trigan". But unlike the 1998 adaptation of the same name, the original plot has been changed in "Trigan: Hurricane". Insurance agent Meryl has turned into a journalist, and Ash's twin brother's existence is revealed in the very first episode. Some important characters like Millie Thompson with a sweet tooth have disappeared from history altogether.
