Who here lives in a red or orange zone? If you do then by 2030 daily life may be very difficult. If you live in a green zone expect further increase in climate refugees as billions of people begin to be displaced from red zones. This index tracks a countries ability to handle climate change impact. Grim reality sadly.

It sounds like catastrophizing but if you can make a plan to emigrate I would unless global leaders actually start doing something. I’m even considering whether to stay in the UK as it will have a genuine immigration problem within 10 years. (I don’t believe we have one now) The UK will be a beacon for billions of people. I’m thinking New Zealand personally.

It does feel like they are not gonna do a thing.I’m considering my options, too. New Zealand is good, especially for those who appreciate a more remote lifestyle, but it’s also pricey and seems underdeveloped. You're right UK will see major immigration, which could lead to challenges down the line. Canada looks like a strong option imo.
