Last couple of years, my journey has taken me deep into NFTs/Collectibles space.

Being an active collector myself, I've been part of building for degens early '21 and went on to figuring use-cases to onboard non-crypto native people.

Figured market isn't broad enough to build apart from trading tools.

Identified fandom as a potential space for expanding the NFT/Collectibles market to onboard non-natives.

Hardcore fans of anything understand the intrinsic value of ownership and collecting. There's a overlap.

One out of many that I enjoyed working on was musicnerd.io

Music quiz for fans to guess songs of their favourite artists - compete, join fan leaderboards & claim score-cards as collectibles.

My team and I took it to ~200k users playing ~400k+ games (all-time)

Fun part is, the end user doesn't have to deal with crypto as everything was built underneath and can be showcased eventually when there’s need.

All shipped outside of Twitter, Crypto circle space targeted to relevant users.

I believe tapping into these sort of niche and focused audience has high potential to bring new people into web3 space.

Pick any niche with intentional user behaviour and build for them. 

Tech at the back will help them understand the benefits of blockchain retroactively.

Happy to jam and share learnings with anyone building for consumer social, nfts/collectibles and music x crypto space.

Saw music as a space to tap into.

Tried finding behaviours in this niche to build consumer product layer, and went onto building multiple experimental products.

Products that can replicate fan behaviours and introduce collecting behaviour on daily/weekly basis.
