What's your process for exploring your ideas further?

Though it’s contextual - 

Roughly :

- If it’s a fun idea, see if everyone around you is excited about it including yourself. Ship and fail fast, if not idea goes to graveyard. 

- If it’s serious one, starting up/work - make sure all the 5 whys are answered and then ship.

Fun vs Serious - Not everything thought through vs Most parts are thought out. 

While sometimes latter can also be done post facto. All based whatever make sense at that point, imo.

How do you communicate to see if anyone around you is excited about the idea? 

Also how do you decide whether an idea is a fun idea or a serious one?
