has anyone tried launching consumer products with crypto elements on reddit? building use-cases that are relevant for a larger audience outside farcaster and have the crypto layer underneath - considering @privy @usecapsule supporting wallets via socials. reddit has some of the most engaging communities on the internet. sub-reddit relevant use-cases with enough feedback loops can act as a good launchpad for any product. example : leveraging /music (which has 34M members atm) for music x crypto products.

considered yes, saw how it went in counter-strike. Just talk product. don't "let them know" that it's crypto. may work. Mentioning NFT and crypto in the counter-strike sub meant dead on arrival taht time 22/23

reddit is stupid and hostile to crypto words but loves the technology. Agree with this take.

yes. just take the value prop in a way it makes sense to them and don’t talk about crypto - product hook has to be main usp here. all the crypto stuff can be brought up with context later considering they’ll have a wallet.

think it boils down to what’s the offering and what’s cool about this, rest everything can stay underneath.
