Oh I have a take as I've been through this a few times by now. Past bear markets ended with a feeling of a new opportunity unlocked in the form of an obstacle removed. BTC runs with being this unfettered cash and renewed interest through other attention-bringing events.

ETH with being a "world computer" and the ability to do ICOs (on top of unfettered cash). Then ETH again with unlocking liquidity through Uniswap (a huge problem for when it was CEX-only).

This time it's "what's next" that's on par with BTC, ICOs, DEXes. But this I don't really see an obstacle that needs to be removed. But then again, it doesn't have to be the next big thing.
