Topic of the day: What is the best gift you have received or given on winter holidays? What is its history? A friend gifted me a day trip to a nearby snowy forest. We spent the day hiking, building a snowman, and sipping hot cocoa by a fire. It wasn’t something I could keep, but the memory of that day remains one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. In return, I once organized a surprise winter picnic for someone close to me, complete with their favorite treats and a thermos of warm tea. They still talk about how magical that snowy afternoon felt. Some gifts aren’t about the object but the experience they create.
