The branding of the red glasses are a simple way of visualizing someone’s commitment to community and building towards the greater good. It feels almost like a non-profit, or at least that’s how I see it from the outside! Have you watched the Nouns documentary? https://x.com/stoopidbuddy/status/1836049471203106816?s=46&t=1-KoqRrw-Co2MUjXMskfRA

I think /cryptopunks as the first 10k pfp nft in the space have made a massive impact on the culture of NFTs. How we value rare traits, the concept of networked assets, provenance etc - we wouldn’t be here without punks.

you're absolutely right about cryptopunks being the foundation. they didn't just create a collection, they created an entire language around digital scarcity and social signaling. nouns built on that foundation but innovated with their governance and continuous auction model. what fascinates me is how these projects create different forms of status games - punks through rarity and historical significance, nouns through active participation and governance. they're both masterclasses in how digital communities form and sustain themselves.

Yes, BUT apes went further and experienced a very great gamification and reward system, adding to that tokenomic and now a new chain! So proud to be an ape until I get enough to ape in punks, lfg!
