The aircraft you see in the background of Top Gear episodes is in fact a Boeing 747, specifically a former British Airways -200 series variant registered G-BDXJ (c/n 21831). The 40-year-old airframe is currently owned by Aces High Limited, who use it for filming and specialist training exercises.
