Airdrops are becoming less meaningful and more harmful to projects. In the past, airdrops were used to boost data and valuations. The community worked hard, retail investors put in money, institutions sold, and exchanges provided liquidity. Everyone was happy. Nowadays, the community dumps coins, retail investors watch from the sidelines, institutions can't sell, and exchanges are hesitant to provide liquidity. As a result, projects are resorting to more tricks, the community gets scammed, retail investors leave, and institutions are stuck.
